One Night in Tarrytown

2023-2025

One Night in Tarrytown is a collaborative VR video game created to study learning in immersive virtual environments. Once the game is finished it will be used to test narrative and spatial learning in VR. For the past two years, my role in the project was to draw and animate characters and scenes in the opening and final scenes, develop character looks and world-building, and work to further develop scenes and imagery within both the 2D and 3D aspects of the game. I had the pleasure of working with the creative team of Edward Downs, Dan Fitzpatrick, Betsy Hunt, Pete Willemsen and some visuals within the opening scene were developed and drafted with the help of another student, Erika Theien. Faculty, Staff, and Community Partners: Lisa Fitzpatrick, Helena Goei, Zach Moser, Matthew Olsen, and David Short.
